Currently, teens from 12 to 17 years of age caught sending nude pictures via cell phone will face felony charges in South Carolina.
New Sexting Bills in South Carolina:
Here are some bills currently at work to reduce the charges:
– A bill by senators Mike Fair, R-Greenville, Darrel Jackson, D-Richland and C. Bradley Hutto: If this bill passes, the charges would be reduced to misdemeanor.
– Another bill I read recently in the news, if passed would reduce the charges to $100 fine.
