Sexting Laws in Delaware:
Currently, Delaware does not yet have laws specifically for minors who share sexual images with other minors.
As a result, any minor or adult caught sexting sexual images containing minors are charged under the state’s child pornography laws.
Under Delaware child pornography laws, it is a federal crime to produce/distribute/possess images/videos containing minors engaging in sexual activity. It is a felony and if convicted, the person shall face fines including jail time and be registered as a sex offender.
Punishments:
- A felony.
- Up to 25 years in prison.
- Registration as a sex offender.
